| Scene: We hammered the Elk at 7am the first morning of the hunt. It was Sept 30th and I was hunting with All-American Outfitters. Brandon put me on this big bull right away and he was half-way up the mountain. The shot was 275 yards and I used a Browning BLR 7mm rem mag. The elk ran about 50 yards before tumbling 80 yards back down the mountain side. Man that country is gorgeous. | |||||||||||
