Hunt #1 - Another terrific hunt for real trophy-sized pronghorn antelope and elk in and around the Gila National Forrest or anywhere in NM where big goats roam, Trophy Ridge Outfitters has been taking disabled hunters for about ten years and their prices are very reasonable for the opportunity to take a B&C class animal.
I just went with Audrey & Roger in August of 2005 and took a huge goat on the first morning of the hunt. For more info on my hunt and how to get in touch with Trophy Ridge, click here. Audrey's number is 505-350-6487.
Applications for the NM public draw must be submitted before April 21st of every year, and each disabled hunter must apply for a mobility-impaired tag in order to hunt from a motorized vehicle.
I give this hunt 5 stars!!! This hunt is a guided hunt paid for by the hunter!!!
Hunt #2 - I am taking applications for the special NM mobility impaired antelope hunt with All American Outfitters and Brandon Gaudelli. We will have a limited number of slots at a special price of $1,500 per person. BADF Disabled Services will provide 1-2 hunting scholarships for the hunt where we pay for the hunt, travel and licenses.
The hunt takes place in August in the Gila National Forest and Brandon has 100% success rate so far on this hunt. YOU MAY APPLY ONLY IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A NM MOBILITY IMPAIRED CERTIFICATION CARD! You must provide the NM Mobility Impaired number when applying for a slot by email. We will accept applications in two ways. You can apply for a scholarship if you have an annual income of under $15,000 and have not received a scholarship or grant from us before. Others may apply for the slots where the hunter will pay his own way and his or her own expenses. Please indicate in your email which you are applying for.
If you are chosen for a slot where you are paying your own way, you must apply for your own tags by April 21st, and you must have a deposit of $500 to All American by April 7th. If you do not draw your deposit will be refunded. Tags and licenses are about $200 per person. The chances of getting drawn by NM for a tag is near 100%. Please do not apply to me by email if you are not serious about going. Call All American with any questions at 505-533-6200. We will have the hunters chosen by March. To Apply Send an email to dsullivan@buckmasters.com with this info: 1.) Indicate if you are paying, or asking for a scholarship. 2.) Include your name, mailing address and phone numbers. 3.) Give Age and Describe Disability 4.) Tell me if you are in a wheelchair, if it is power or manual and its width at the widest point for passing doorways. 5.) Please give a brief history of your hunting experience since disabled.
Email David to see if they are still doing any hunts in NM.
