Hunter Profile - Todd Albaugh

As for me, I'm a C-5 incomplete quad due to a car accident in 1991. Ive got good bicept strength in my arms with little to no tricept strenght, limited trunk balance and no use of my fingers.I started hunting & fishing again 1&1/2 yrs after the accident.

I use a bracket I designed and many others use now, as seen on my web page photo gallery, that mounts to my wheelchair and on which I put my bow canted sideways (Like a crossbow) with "Roger Grover's Bow-Pro Release system" for my compound bow, (as seen in the pic with Me & my 11Point Buck). I discharge the relese with my teeth (as seen in the pic below) and Ive had great success when hunting whitetails, turkey & wild boar.

I use the same bracket to mount my firearms on as well, adding a regular gun rest that I secure the firearms on. To fire the guns, I move the gun with my right arm and use a bowling wrist brace on my left wrist to stabalize pull the trigger. But I have alot of other options & ideas & info for people, everyone is a little different as you know.

I'm also an avid fisher (see above). I taught myself how to recast a regular spinning reel by using a "Strong Arm" fishing brace to secure the pole to my arm. I love going out on my pontoon boat as well as the great lks.

Currently I'm the National Handicap Director for Ted Nugent United Soprtsmen Of America (TNUSA). I absolutely love helping people with any disability with any info on laws, adaptions, rigs, or idea's I or any other organizations have. Just give me a shout if you need anything at all.

After all we all must help each other out for "If Theres A Will Then By God There Is A Way!!!" anyone needing assistance they can contact me through my web page at Todd Albaugh's Handicap Info or e-mail me directly @ albaugh@skywareinc.net.

Hope this is what you needed,
Todd Albaugh
