Hunt #2 - Laurens County, Georgia Deer Hunt

I'm David Williams and the president of the Laurens County Handicap Sportsman Association. We host a deer every year in Dublin, Ga., on the first weekend in November, and would like to see some new faces. The hunt is held on private land where we do all the food plots, set up blinds, trim roads, etc. Last year we had 34 hunters and harvested 21 deer and 3 hogs and had several misses! We cook all the meals, furnish drinks and snacks, assist hunters, game retrival and cleaning, anything they need. We have plenty of camper hookups, a nice club house with big screen where we watch the Georgia bulldogs whip everybody and have room for 250 people. This is our 9th year and we look forward to it every year. Come see us. Thanks, David Williams 478-256-4157 or dwilliamsbear@gmail.com.

Every year we try to have this hunt on the first weekend of Nov. The weather is usually great and our rut is starting to kick in. We are trying to get more land so we can have more than 50 hunters and the offers keep rolling in. We made the front page of our new paper and in a few magazines but best of all we had a safe hunt and I believe everyone had a great time. The meals were great and our goodie bags were fun of thermacells, lure, calls, shirts, flashlights, gloves, etc. We are located in central Ga., between Macon and Savannah. Our buddies from Wisconsin took 2 hogs and that just what they wanted. I bet thats a long drive. Our hunter come from all over including, Florida, Alabama, South and North Carolina, Tenn., and Mississippi. I hope everyone enjoys the pictures and if you think you might be interested in coming next year, let me know and I'll get you the paper work.
